Dr. Erik Black will present a workshop that will walk you through the first stages of academic writing, including planning your time starting to write, editing and proofreading your work. Following this workshop participants shall be able to:
- Produce a timetable of activities required to successfully complete an academic article
- Describe the features that make a concept suitable for academic publication
- Review and edit text to make it ‘more academic’
- Describe a number of collaborative proofreading strategies to accelerate a project to completion
