Creating a community within a large organization gives members a greater sense of purpose and meaning to their work. The University of Florida Women in Medicine and Science Professional Retreat will provide opportunities to become profoundly connected with other UF Health women faculty, giving participants a deep sense of belonging and pride. We aim to accomplish these goals by combining structured professional development sessions with proven wellness activities in a comfortable and welcoming setting.
With a maximum of 20 women physicians, physician assistants, and scientists from UF COM, participants will certainly get to know each other.
