The University of Florida College of Medicine’s annual Spring Faculty Assembly provides an opportunity to recognize faculty members whose contributions have made a meaningful impact across clinical care, research, education, and service throughout the year.
The 2026 assembly held by Faculty Council on May 7th at the George T. Harrell, M.D., Medical Education Building, brought faculty and leadership together to celebrate a wide range of achievements. The program featured keynote speaker Diane W. Shannon, M.D., M.P.H., P.C.C., a physician, author, and professional coach. Faculty members were recognized with departmental and college-level honors, while those marking 20, 30, and 40 years of service received commemorative lapel pins. The event also included the presentation of the Faculty Council Lifetime Achievement Award and the David A. Paulus Award for Clinical Excellence.
